After I attended the Haldimand-Norfolk Pride Festival in May 2024, I was invited to be interviewed by Dick Bourgeous-Doyle for the podcast Dover Writes, all about what went into the making of Pride and Persistence.
In February 2024, I was invited by Moms Stop the Harm to give a presentation and reading from Any Kind of Luck at All with a focus on memoir writing for healing, education and advocacy. I also offered simple prompts to help you start writing down your own family memories. Watch the YouTube video here.

What a wonderful launch for Pride and Persistence on October 11 at Glad Day bookshop. Moderated by Jo Vannicola with young speaker Lydia Derry, it was a night for hope and togetherness.
I was invited to be part of the Toronto International Festival of Authors on September 29, 2023, talking about Pride and Persistence: Stories of Queer Activism.
